PHYSICIAN INFORMATION AND POLICIES
Your Primary Physician
We require you to select a primary physician who will see you most often and who will coordinate your care. You may sometimes see one of the other physicians or nurse practitioners, but your primary physician will be the one most involved with you. The nurse practitioners see patients for all the physicians, but do not have patients of their own.
Switching Physicians
If you would like to switch primary physicians, just ask us. We will complete a form giving your reason for wanting to switch and asking for each provider's consent. We'll notify you after the form has been reviewed by both physicians.
Provider's Schedules
Each provider is out of the office at least one afternoon per week, according to the following schedule:

In addition, physicians rotate being off about one Friday per month.
If you need care when your primary physician is out, one of the other physicians may be available to help you. Please call and speak to a medical assistant for advice.
New Patients
We always appreciate your recommendation to family and friends. Sometimes, however, a physician has to "close" his or her practice so that he/she can devote enough time to current patients. Please check our physicians' individual pages to find out if they are currently accepting new patients.
If your insurance card lists one of our physicians as your PCP and this is your first time calling for an appointment, please mention this to the receptionist.
If you are an established patient but it has been over three years since you were here, we need to allow extra time to catch up on your medical history. We schedule these appointments as new patient appointments to allow this extra time.
